ASC Specialist teacher & behavioural therapist

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Specialist Teacher and Behavioural Therapist was born in Scotland, gained a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree in 1998 and has over twenty years’ experience in both mainstream- and special needs- education, within the UK and South Africa. She gained postgrad qualifications in teaching, autism spectrum, and special needs and extensive training and experience using a wide range of autism support strategies and teaching tools.

 

We offer relationship-based, specialist autism and behaviour intervention, support, advice and a range of social-emotional tools based on the individual differences of each student and their functional emotional developmental capacities. We also offer outreach support to schools in need of autism spectrum and behaviour support, student observations, advice and staff training. In addition, we host workshops for parents and professionals who are keen to learn more about neurodiversity, develop their understanding and learn practical autism support strategies.
